Brief description of process

csrss.exe is a very important process in the family of Microsoft Windows NT operating systems. Provides user mode Win32 subsystem. csrss.exe process is included with Windows 2000, XP, 2003, Vista, Server 2008 and 7. csrss.exe is essential for the functioning of the system, stopping this process will result in Blue Screen of Death. Under normal circumstances, can not be terminated with csrss.exe tskill command or the Windows Task Manager, although it is possible in Microsoft Windows Vista as an administrator tasks run in administrator mode.
